License Terms

These License Terms govern your use of the Orvanta software, including the Orvanta Teams Edition (OTE) and Orvanta Enterprise Edition (OEE), whether deployed via Orvanta Cloud or self-hosted on your own infrastructure. By installing, copying, or otherwise using the software, you accept these terms.

1. Editions

Orvanta is distributed in two editions from a single codebase:

  • Orvanta Teams Edition (OTE) — for teams using Orvanta Cloud or running self-hosted instances under a Teams licence.
  • Orvanta Enterprise Edition (OEE) — for organisations operating Orvanta at scale, with additional enterprise capabilities such as single sign-on, advanced RBAC, multi-tenancy, and dedicated support.

2. Trial use

New workspaces may use Orvanta Cloud under a trial licence for a limited evaluation period. Trial workspaces are subject to fair-use limits and may not be used in production without an active paid subscription.

3. Grant of licence

Subject to these terms and payment of the applicable fees, Blue Code Garden B.V. grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable licence to use the Orvanta software for your internal business operations for the duration of your subscription.

4. Restrictions

You may not:

  • Resell, sublicense, rent, lease, or otherwise commercially exploit the software except as expressly permitted under these terms.
  • Use the software to provide a competing managed orchestration or agentic automation service to third parties.
  • Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices, branding, or licence keys.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law.

5. Licence keys and verification

Self-hosted Teams and Enterprise deployments validate their licence against license.orvanta.cloud. You agree not to circumvent licence validation, and to keep your licence key confidential.

6. Third-party components

The software includes open-source components governed by their respective licences. A complete list, including attribution and licence text, is available on request and in the documentation. Your rights to those components are governed by their original licences; nothing in this document restricts those rights.

7. Ownership

Blue Code Garden B.V. retains all right, title, and interest in and to the Orvanta software, including all intellectual property rights. No rights are granted to you other than those expressly set out in these terms.

8. Termination

Your licence terminates automatically if you breach these terms or if your subscription lapses. Upon termination you must stop using the software and remove all copies under your control. Sections 4, 6, 7, and 9 survive termination.

9. Warranty disclaimer and liability

The software is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Blue Code Garden B.V. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the software.

10. Governing law

These License Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts of the Netherlands.

11. Changes

We may update these License Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in advance via email or in the product. Continued use of the software after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
